  Daniel Defo's novel "Robinson Crusoe" is one of my most favorite books. The author may have based part of his narrative on the true story of the Scottish castaway Alexander Selkirk. And though since that passed almost three hundred years, it is used big popularity today because this book tells about boundless possibilities of the person who has appeared in exclusive circumstances, about his struggle for life, about his creative activity, courage and firmness, shown in this struggle.
